First Friday Breakfast Club (FFBC) is a social and educational group for gay and bi men. We are the largest breakfast club in Iowa.
FFBC members gather for fellowship, mutual support, and education on community affairs. We listen to a speaker and, of course, enjoy breakfast together. We also strive to educate community opinion leaders with positive images of gay and bi men.
We raise scholarship money for college-bound Iowa high school seniors who have helped reduce homophobia in their schools and/or communities.
FFBC meets the first Friday of every month from 7am to 8am at Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines.

What a fun group. I look forward to this every month. The speakers are always interesting, and there are typically 50 to 75 people in attendance. I enjoy meeting new people and connecting with old friends. I highly recommend you attend a meeting; I bet you'll be back for a second one.
