GLSEN Southeast Michigan is an all volunteer organization that focuses on making schools safe for all students, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity or expression. More volunteers are always needed.
We address school climate working with GLSEN to educate school administration and staff to be allies and to intervene with bullying that is witnessed. We offer support to the area's GSAs through our youth board, GSA Alliance of Southeast Michigan. We assist in lobbying for a fully enumerated anti-bullying bill for the state of Michigan.
