Psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis in a lovely garden-style office. 20 years of experience.
Looking for the right therapist can be a daunting task. There are so many variables to consider in finding the right match, and of course, you want to make the best possible choice.
My office is centrally located in a small courtyard building in West Hollywood. Most people who come here appreciate the non-medical feel of the place, and the street parking nearby.
I work with many different types of people and problems, which makes it difficult to narrow down to a few categories. It may help to know that I have a lot of experience helping people suffering from depression and anxiety. I also work well with creative types: actors, writers, producers and artists, helping them to maximize and unlock their creative potential
Other areas of expertise include process and substance addictions, recovery from childhood trauma (including various types of abuse and neglect), and intimacy and relationship concerns.
Oftentimes people say “I know what is wrong with me, and I know what I need to do, so what good will therapy do?” To this I would say, we all have blind spots. Even if you believe you know and cannot imagine what else you could learn about your problem, you might be surprised. Talking to someone (who is not you!) can offer surprising insights.
