Mabel wants you!
The Mabel League is Vancouver's largest queer softball league. Established in 1990 and running stronger than ever, we offer a fun and safe environment for lesbians, bisexual and heterosexual women, transgender, and transsexual people to play recreational softball. Our season runs from April to July every spring/summer and we have three divisions: recreational, intermediate, competitive - so we offer a lil' something for players of all skill levels - no experience necessary! Our league is inclusive and we offer a fantastic opportunity to get out and meet others, all while having fun. We have many social events throughout the season, including dances and tournaments.
Come out and Meet Mabel! We're hosting a meet and greet for anyone interested in the league. Oasis @ Davie and Thurlow on Saturday, February 18th, 2012. Come @ 8pm for information about the league, meet other league members, find yourself a team to play on, and stay for dancing that starts @10pm! Sure to be a good time! Hope to meet you there!
