Laura Christensen was the first professionally-trained acupuncturist to provide services in Eastern Iowa. She has studied with many famous teachers in the US, and combines subtle and powerful Japanese approaches with time-tested 'family-style' strategies which have been handed down through lineages in China for hundreds of years. She continuously studies with her master teachers to improve her approaches and thus to help more people.

Of course, the majority of our patients are here for pain, but we also can help with many other conditions, both acute and chronic. We specialize in helping those who have not been helped by other healthcare methods.

Our clinic is a resource for nutrition and herbal treatment as well. Several fine supplement lines are featured and we can consult on your nutritional needs for a reasonable fee. Our training includes the powerful medicine of Chinese Herbs, and we have a full pharmacy of Chinese herbs so as to be able to customize a formula for any patient.

Our clinic is pleasant and professional, treatments are relaxing and healing. We usually do sessions that are two-to-three times longer than most acupuncturists, at a reasonable rate.

We are handicapped accessible, have plenty of free parking, and are located on a bus route for your convenience.
