AFABC provides province-wide support and advice if you are beginning to think about adoption, if you have decided to adopt, and if you have already had a child or children join your family. AFABC also plays a significant role in promoting awareness of the thousands of BC children in the care of the Ministry of Children and Family Development, who are waiting for a family.

AFABC hosts monthly meetings for current and prospective adoptive parents in the GLBT community. Come meet gay and lesbian adoptive parents and hear their stories. Learn the facts about adopting in BC. It’s easier than you think. If you know someone who would make an amazing adoptive parent, encourage them to attend.
