This is a belated review. My job sends me everywhere, and Baltimore isn't my favorite place. While looking for ways to best spend my time in the city, I came across Charm City Tattoo online. Imagine my surprise when I remembered the work on her site from books and magazines! Could the same artist still be there? Not only was she there, Jacki is the only artist!
After some lite convo, booking was e-z. The specially drafted design was perfect and the tattooing went so smoothly, it was done just as I was getting comfortable. The tattoo is awesome. Parking was easy even if the neighborhood was sketchy, but that's most of the city. This will make my trips here worth it!

Looking at websites is how I found this place (having learned the hard way about social media and review sites). After leaving a message, Jacki herself returned my call. The shop was easy to find and sitting down with a tattooer who is an artist gives a personal touch that's hard to explain. I especially like the fact that you have this artist's full attention and no interruptions during the rendition. I've had tattooers walk away in the middle of a tattoo and I didn't like it. Jacki put on great music, told me a story or two, and I was done! I felt like I was just starting to get into it! Anyway, that was late last summer, the work is just beautiful, and I look forward to coming back for another tattoo in 2019. THANKS JACKI!

I happened upon this shop after friends told me about the artist, all they said was "she was good." Little did I know the history behind the artist and this shop! Not only did I leave with badass art, but got a slice of experience thru this artist & her site. With all the ginormous hype it's a trip to find someone this special keeping a low profile!

While looking to get a new tattoo, I found Charm City on line. I was very impressed with the examples of artwork on the walls, and Jacki was so personable. She really cares about her clients. I felt very special, and the tattoo was so beautiful! I intend to come back soon, and have her do my next tattoo.
