Catherine enjoys walking along the oceanfront near her home, kayaking coastal tide-pools, cycling, and spending time with her extended family and fantastic friends.
A practicing coach since 2000, Catherine founded her own coaching business in 2006. Prior to launching herself as a full time as a Coach, Catherine spent 2 decades in corporate Canada. Believing in the importance of Professional association, she attended the Executive Coaching Graduate Program at Royal Roads University and became a Certified Executive Coach (CEC). Catherine holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation conferred by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Catherine has worked internationally with medical practitioners, executives, entrepreneurs, CEOs, teachers, board executives and artists. “I bring a positively queer and authentic questioning perspective to being a Professional Coach.”
Catherine’s style involves integrity, heart and a bold and audacious commitment to people achieving what they desire. Three hallmarks of her practice are laughter, unconditional positive regard, and belief that the best return on investment comes from discovering and working through blind spots.
Catherine serves as Associate Coach at the University of British Columbia, holds a Board position with ICF Vancouver, and is a loving supporter of Out In Schools. Catherine brings her love of academics, her respect for leadership, and her commitment to the profession of Coaching to her ongoing participation with Royal Roads' Executive Coaching Graduate Program – as both Alumni Coach and Panelist for final audits: she listens for Coaching that exemplifies the presence of a CEC.
