The Galvanic method is used for many cases, galvanic being the oldest and original method of permanent hair removal. Galvanic offers a high rate of effectiveness even in difficult cases such as deep, coarse or curly hair. Galvanic method does not use any heat during the hair removal process protecting the facial subcutaneous collagen.

The 'Blend' method can also be employed to increase the amount of area covered during a visit. When the blend method is used at Jepsen Electrolysis low levels of warmth are used in combination with galvanic application to increase galvanic effectiveness without increasing discomfort or adding unnecessary dermal tissue heat.
