McLean Meditation Institute's Teacher Academy offers a complete course in the theory, science, and practice of meditation designed to prepare individuals to deliver professional meditation instruction to their clients, patients, family, and the general public. You'll receive a high degree of specialized training in the knowledge, skills, and presence necessary to teach mindfulness, various meditation practices, and the Simple, Easy, Every Day Meditation method, a powerful daily meditation practice suitable for anyone.
The 200-hour Meditation Teacher Academy provides the training, support, and coaching to individuals wishing to deepen their own personal meditation and mindfulness practice, or wanting to teach friends and family member. Some people want to incorporate meditation training into their existing profession, or want to develop a private practice in meditation training. The first part of the program is a 150-hour, self-paced Meditation Foundation Course, a distance learning and personal practice course during which you'll be introduced to readings, exercises, videos, and meditation and mindfulness practices. After you complete the Meditation Foundation Course you'll be ready for the Teacher Training Intensive.
