At times, people seek therapy to alleviate acute symptoms of distress or desire support when faced with a difficult life transition. At other times, they search to gain a deeper understanding of the self or to find meanings for various experiences. Regardless of how you approach it, therapy is a very personal and intimate process. Therefore, it is extremely crucial for you to feel safe and comfortable with your therapist.
I generally work from an Inter-Subjective / Psychodynamic framework. I have found that exploring our interpersonal relationships is an important step in developing and strengthening our identity. I believe that every individual is unique and needs a nurturing environment to grow. I welcome clients from all walks of life and would be happy to address any questions you may have about this empowering process.
