PBUUC Rental Information

Weddings, receptions, seminars, musical recitals, company retreats... the beautiful facilities at PBUUC provide a unique, memorable setting for your special event. Nestled in virgin woods, our convenient location is only 1 mile outside the Washington Beltway in Prince George's County.

PBUUC's contemporary-style Meeting House contains a large open gathering space with wood flooring, flexible seating arrangements, and windows looking out at natural woodland beauty. The hall seats about 175 people without tables and about 120 people with tables. A kitchen with two stoves and a warmer oven is available for food preparation and reheating. A panoramic deck surrounds the Meeting House and connects it with PBUUC's other building as well as the 100-car-capacity parking lot, providing barrier-free access to PBUUC's main spaces.

PBUUC Wedding Information

Congratulations on your decision to wed. We're so glad you're considering PBUUC as the location for such an important occasion! Our lovely woodland setting, with views from every window and the deck, is perfect for both intimate and public ceremonies. You may choose between the larger Meeting House with its warm interior or the smaller Kelley Room overlooking our stream that flows into the Paint Branch of the Anacostia River. After the ceremony, sit together for some reflective moments in the Meditation Area facing the woods or on the streamside bench, before rejoining your guests for the reception on the deck, in the Meeting House or Kelley Room.

Your first step is to contact our Church Administrator, Chuck Bury, to explore dates and space. He will give you a tour of our space, help you decide how to use it, and work with you on the rental contract. If you have your own clergy or musician, you can indicate that to him, or he can connect you to our Minister Rev. Teichert or Music Director David Chapman. He is best reached by email or at 301-937-3666.
