Understanding why and how we react or feel the way we do in relationships with others is a step towards a healthy, grounded, and fulfilled place in the world. Working with a trained psychotherapist will help you explore your life with different lenses and introduce alternative choices and pathways. I seek to help people who wish to break out of patterns and behaviours that keep them feeling stuck in their lives.
Living everyday can be overwhelming and as a result of life we may not feel what it means to be alive. Guilt can haunt our past; we have anxieties about the present, and sometimes we despair of what holds in the future. Somewhere in everyday life, we lose a sense of who we are and ourselves, and at times we may start feeling bits of disconnection, dissatisfied, and/or disappointment, or simply being faced with numerous stress related issues. Perhaps you are going through a transition in life and constantly moving forward is difficult when you are experiencing an emotional or physical stress.
I am a psychotherapist with training in relational psychotherapy and a candidate at the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy (TIRP) an intensive three-year theoretical and clinical training program in psychodynamic, intersubjective, and relational psychotherapy. I am also a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT), as a member I adhere to its Code of Ethics.
My passion and areas of expertise resides in the realm of human growth, emotional health, and happiness. I offer a free 15-minute consultation, allowing you to meet with me in person and to have your questions answered. It can be an opportunity for you to clarify your needs and goals.
