PFLAG Greensboro

PFLAG Greensboro

We offer a safe, confidential space in which to explore our feelings and understandings about the GLBT experience, especially “coming out” and what this means to families and other loved ones. Listen and share, as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, knowing that others can understand. Welcome especially to our returning members whose love is so healing.

Please join us for our monthly meetings at 7:30 PM every 3rd Tuesday of the month.
Our current meeting place location is:

College Park Baptist Church
1601 Walker Ave
Greensboro, NC 27403 (see map below)

Our Mission

Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered persons, their families and friends through: support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and secure equal civil rights. PFLAG provides an opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.

Our Vision

People who are LGBTQ and their families deserve to be safe and secure, no matter where they live, work, study, pray or play. PFLAG Greensboro's vision is to create a world where difference is celebrated, and all people are valued inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. Our mission of support, education, and advocacy guides our work on this important goal.
